Overview

Shading Specialists, a Watford-based business in the window treatments and interior design industries, required to grow their business through a digital marketing strategy. Given the size of the business and its budget, an organic approach was chosen.

To achieve this, we delivered:

  • Funnel design, from social media to website.
  • Market research & competitor analysis to assess the initial situation.
  • SEO strategy with keyword analysis, with estimated monthly SEO traffic, SEO keyword value and CPC value.
  • Buyer persona creation, empathy mapping & customer needs mapping based on buyer personas.
  • Cross-promotional opportunities found in the business’ niche.
  • Creation of email marketing newsletters for each month.
  • Content creation and posting on social media and blog, for a period of 4 months.

Organic growth results

Results in a period of 4 months for the Facebook campaign:

  • 94.12% increase of total likes
  • 200% increase in daily page engagements

Digital marketing strategy

In order to ensure that the offer was presented in the most relevant manner, to the right audience and in the pertinent channels, Foliosofy developed a comprehensive marketing strategy. While the focus was on digital media, especially social media and online advertising, physical marketing was also considered, to cater to specific audience segments who would be more likely to engage with flyers, physical banners and magazine placements. For this purpose, Foliosofy designed the necessary marketing materials for print at a later stage, during the offline marketing phase.

Content creation

Given the nature of the business, Foliosofy suggested to emphasize the high quality and professionalism of the installations provided. This was backed by real testimonials from satisfied customers. The content created was published regularly on each of the business’ social media channels. Finally, engagement was incentivised, and consistent follow-up with potential prospects resulted in more business opportunities.

Project Case studies

For specific large projects, Foliosofy provided photography services, videography, and article writing to create product-focused case studies. These were done in alignment with the digital marketing strategy, by:

  • Expanding the reach to new audiences through influencer relationships (which was the case for the Private Home project),
  • Further establishing authority and trust, by demonstrating expertise in delivering large projects (as seen on the Lincoln Square project).
