Overview

For its annual corporate SolarPower Summit event, SolarPower Europe needed a website redesign with a clean, modern look and feel.
Working in collaboration with their UI and brand designer, Foliosofy were responsible for building the functional website and deploy it in a new infrastructure which the client’s team could easily manage.

To meet the project requirements, Foliosofy:

  • Assessed the best technology to use, given the desired functionality and allocated budget.
  • Set up the CMS in a secure environment.
  • Built the website in alignment with the mockups provided, developed additional responsive versions and edge cases.
  • Created a set of components which could be reused to build new parts of the website and change existing parts.
  • Made speed optimisations by reducing file sizes, requests, and setting up a CDN.
  • Tested the website in multiple platforms before deployment.
  • Launched the new website within the expected time frame.
  • Provided access and training to selected team members.
